Stayed out way too late last night AND daylight savings time is kicking my ass for it. Gross. Friday night Shelly and I got talked into playing laser tag. At first we weren't going to because the people who were going from work were lame but one of the girls is okay and she's like please, come on, it'll be fun. So we finally decide to and we knew we'd made the right choice when we get there and the ugly girlfriend of one of the guys was there too. We were pretty stoked about this because Shelly's plan then was just to chase after this girl all the time and shoot her. We stuck together the whole time and Shelly ended up with a negative score and the chick she wanted to shoot didn't even play. The marshall kept following us around because we were swearing a lot and Laser Quest is a "family friendly environment". This one girl we didn't know kept coming after Shelly and she yelled really loud, "Sarah, fucking shoot her!" And there were these two little 16 year old punks who shot us all the time and were basically really annoying. It's probably because I called one of them a dick. I don't think they liked that. Oh well. And this was BEFORE we went to Dylan's for Katie's 21st birthday, but that is a whole other story. It actually would have been fun if we were playing with fun people, and people from work who did not suck at life.
Afterward, we went to the party and Tom's brother was there. I do not understand how those two are related AT ALL. They're completely different. Shelly had to tell everyone we knew that I went to the JT concert with Tom, and she is convinced it was a date. I'm pretty sure I would know if I was on a date, and that was not a date. It was just a concert...THE BEST CONCERT EVER...and it was fun, but not a date.Anyway, so we see Ted and I was like, "Hey, I hung out with your brother last night," (it always annoys Ted when we talk about Tom and annoys Tom when we talk about Ted, so we do it sometimes excessively because we're funny like that). Shelly chimes in really loud with a, "Yeah and you know where they went! To the Justin Timberlake concert!" and Ted just kind of shakes his head. So then he and I were talking for a little bit and Ted said something about yeah he'd known Tom was going but their mom had said something about Tom going on a date with some 24 year old chick or whatever and that he wasn't actually going to the concert. Shelly enjoyed THAT. It wasn't a date! If he would have paid for my ticket and we would have gone to dinner beforehand, then yes, it would have been a date. But I paid for mine (except the taxes and fees and stuff, he paid for those since I was driving us), and there was no dinner.
Now I am off on a tangent about the concert but I don't care. It was FUCKING AWESOME. Seriously. One of the best shows ever. The pictures are all on Facebook. Justin Timberlake is the most gorgeous man alive. LOVE HIM.
So back to Friday. We were hanging out and the cops ended up up coming because there were so many people in the house. Understandable, since it was a birthday party, but whatevs. So Shelly and I just end up going back to her apartment and hanging out with her friend Matt who lives upstairs from her. Work was not horrible the next day and we both actually mad it in on time. Greg was proud of us.
Last night was fun too. We went to Big Sal's for pizza and beer and Shelly's old roommate came along. He was cool. We then went to this really nasty bar, The Post, or something. It's not even IN Lincoln, so you can still smoke in there. These creepy guys at the end of the bar told me I had perfect eyebrows and really pretty eyes so I made Aaron come stand by me and put his arm around me so the guys would leave me alone. it worked, they didn't say anything else the whole night. We were there with some friends of Shelly's and I guess after she and Aaron and I left, one of the creepy guys was asking about us and if they could come over to the house and drink some more with us and all this gross crap. Needless to say, the answer was a definitive no.
That's pretty much my weekend in a nutshell. Drunk fun with Shelly, three weekends in a row. The way my weeks go though with all the working, I think I deserve some fun. The concert was awesome, this weekend was a lot of fun, and I do what I want. I don't know why that last statement was necessary but it seemed like it fit. Anyway, I've got to pack my shit up and get home, my momma's waiting on me. So much laundry to do, blech. Plus I have to lug home the Language Arts books and stuff for plans. Sarah had planned through next week after Spring Break but I would feel much better if I had everything planned up through the six weeks because I have the time and I need to use it wisely. I have a whole week to get everything planned out instead of little bits of time before and after school where I get NOTHING done because there is always something someone needs and someone I have to talk to about this or that. So, this week will be good.
Okay, I am off to Minnesota now, and I love Justin Timberlake.
